Above/Below(New London Jazz Hip-Hop Fusion Band)
Above/Below is an amazing eight piece fusion jazz and old school hip-hop band from New London that started out as a three piece rhythm section in 2007. The band has become immensely popular and has tripled in size at one point reaching as many as ten members. The Lurk Safari Project (a.k.a. Urban Lurkers) is a comprehensive photography study of the "Lurkers" in their natural environment, the streets of New London. A slide show of the progress made in documenting the many variations of "Lurk" in the species can be viewed here.
